Light up the Lea

On Saturday 20th March I will be performing a loopy trumpet set whilst kids perform in specially decorated boats and canoes with large light up sculptures on the river Lea.

Due to continuing Covid restrictions this event will be online only

Tune in to see the live performance on the 20th March from 19:00 to 19.30 via: https://www.facebook.com/LeasideCC/

This footage of the performance will be re-run on the 21st March from 19:00 also from the link above.

There is also a facebook event page for more info https://www.facebook.com/events/445083220022626

The display highlights the impact of rubbish and pollution on our waterways through a beautiful and moving performance.
Showcasing sculptures, movement and light, the show is inspired and created by the young people of Leaside, artists and technicians at the heart of the community along the River Lea.

Sculptures will be placed on the river at night after the performance for two nights.

A video snapshot of the event.

Thanks to all involved and the Leaside Trust for inviting me to perform at this special event …… and managing to navigate the Covid restrictions to hold this in the middle of a national lockdown.
