Violins and Fascinators

Thank you to all who came to see the James Orchestra tour, thanks to all the people that made it happen, the sound , lighting and catering crew. Thanks to the Orca 22 symphony Orchestra, The Manchester Inspirational Voices Gospel Choir and to our conductor and arranger Joe Duddell.

It was great to play a tour where the audience were sat listening intently for most of the 2 long sets, no mobile phones allowed. The intensity of emotion reached new heights for the band.

The tour recieved great reviews in the national press …including this Times review of the opening night …… we were however only able to complete 13 of the 15 dates. The shows in Nottingham and Bath had to be postponed due to Tim getting an acute throat infection leaving him unable to sing. They are currently being re-scheduled.

I broke my foot coming off stage after the first night at the Manchester Apollo and had to play the rest of the tour on crutches and seated.
