Five Years Ago

It is five years ago since  the second Covid lockdown in the UK and we were all isolated in our homes. I spent the lockdown doing daily 30 minute livestreams. For 60 days, from Jan 1st to March 1st, I improvised along with video projections of news and events relating to the day.

 
People have asked why I havent done it since, and apart from the work of getting all the video together every day, and setting up my home studio, it was lockdown and people were looking for connection. I got into a routine and the music flowed.
 
The improvisations were worked on with Richard Harrison the drummer in Spaceheads and have since  become Spaceheads tunes. The Spaceheads tune that relates to the livestream are listed below.
 
Since the 1st Jan, I have reposted short clips of the performances daily. They were originally live-streamed simultaneously on Facebook and Youtube. I took the Facebook ones down but they have stayed up on Youtube.
 
The clips will appear daily until March 1st as “reels” and “stories” on my Instagram page and Facebook Page. Follow me there to get updates
 
The clips will appear as “Shorts” on Youtube and stay up, unlike the Facebook and Instagram ones that dissapear after 24 hours
