Happy New Year!! Thanks for all your support during another difficult year.
The year kicked off with a full on Lockdown and I livestreamed everyday from the first of January till the first of March. All 60 of these half hour improvised solo loopy performances along with themed projections and lights are still available to view on my YouTube channel
As the Lockdown eased James managed to arrange a two week stay in Broughton Hall Yorkshire to rehearse for upcoming gigs and the release of our 16th album “All the Colours of You”
After a few false starts and cancellations due to Covid precautions and sinking stages, James managed to play at quite a few festivals over the summer, and Spaceheads performed on the back of a farm trailer pulled along by tractor while rehearsing and recording over 20 new tunes
The year finished with a triumphant James arena tour with our Mancunian co-conspirators The Happy Mondays. With covid rates still high we were lucky to get away with it (all messed up) but came a croper at the end and had to postpone two Portugal gigs.
Next year is as uncertain as ever but we are looking forward to some big summer festivals as James celebrate our 40th year and Spaceheads plan to release some of these new tunes weve been working on
