Happy New Year and thanks for your support during 2023.
The year was a busy one with James, as we celebrated our 40th year and toured in the spring with a 40 piece orchestra and choir. It saw the release of a double album with the choir and orchestra “be opened by the wonderful”. I also featured on a new Pere Ubu release “Trouble on Big Beat Street”, and Spaceheads continued to record new material for a release and played our first post pandemic public gig at Manchesters Carlton Club
2024 kicks off with the announcement of a new James album and gigs in Mexico and a big arena tour in June. Summer festivals are also being announced regularly …. see my gigs page for details.
Spaceheads will announce the release of a 3 vinyl box set with the San Francisco label Absolute Kosher records, it will be a compilation of early Spaceheads recordings between 1990-2002. Spaceheads will also release some new material as we have loads! ….. the timing and format to be decided so that it doesnt clash with the Absolute Kosher release.
