A brass version of Diagram Brothers “Bricks” with changed lyrics to fit the current zeitgeist.
“Masks” is an ode to our current faith in the life-saving properties of a bit of cloth over our noses and mouths, and will hopefully raise a smile behind them all.
It is a re-working of “Bricks”, the old Diagram Brothers classic (and Peel favourite) from 1981, to raise funds for a friend’s son’s brain cancer treatment.
The track is all played on trumpet through effects, with drums sampled from the original, and is available from my bandcamp page, with all proceeds to Joel’s appeal.
