Times were hard but things were ticking over. We were living through “Extraordinary Times” with James and Spaceheads carried “A New World in Our Hearts”
In 2020 a global pandemic struck and the world changed. Lockdowns occured and live music was stopped ….Social distancing meant no audiences.
Livestreaming performances really took off …..is there any going back to “normal” … i think livestreaming will now be a permanent feature of performance even when audiences are allowed to gather.
The global pandemic has opened our eyes to the reality of global emergencies ….and the big one coming down the line is environmental catastrophy …..global warming and mass extinctions …are we ready …what role can musicians play to raise awarenes and help inspire the political changes that are needed ……. to be continued …life goes on for now
