The Archive

David kept three of everything. For sale will be:
Archived T-shirts
Original vinyl – including 12” albums and singles, 7”s as well as very rare vinyl of the wooden birds and other solo Projex
Framed and unframed publicity shots
Original cassette tapes
Original video
Archived posters.
There will also be bags, mugs, badges and books.
On display will be several display books detailing the journey of Pere Ubu and all the other Projex. Extremely rare communications, the first recording lists from the recording studio (with a mystery track?) and photos that the band took of each other on the road. There’s also a copy of Street Waves that he and Peter doodled lyrics for a new song on. David’s extraordinary array of instruments and his personal favourite treasures including the Lego band, WIC frisbee and his space balls will also be there.
If this guy was around today, he’d be excited – especially as we’re serving hot dogs on the Saturday night. I’ll post the tix links in comments – it truly is the most complete you will ever have known the band and Mr Thomas himself.
